Some people are not happy about it. Some people think that the 20.7 million dollars could of been spent elsewhere. But I think it is a good thing because the police have one of the most dangerous jobs. They are putting their lives in danger and they don't do it for the money either, they do it to keep people safe so they should have the extra protection from gun shots and other things.
Next I hope the new Zealand police next get body cameras so they can have evidence for crime scenes.
Hi Jamie, thanks for sharing your opinion on this article. I agree with you that it is important to protect our police as their job is very dangerous. I would like to know more about body cameras. Is this your idea or something the NZ police are considering?
